We build dufelo.com to be usable with a keyboard, a screen reader, or on a small screen in bright sunlight. When it falls short, we want to hear about it.

What we aim for

We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. That is a target we keep working at, not a certification we claim.

What we do

  • Every meaningful image carries descriptive alternative text.
  • Headings follow a logical order so screen readers can navigate the page.
  • Text and background colors are chosen for contrast, not just for looks.
  • Buttons, links and forms can be reached and used with a keyboard alone.
  • Changes made without a page reload, such as selecting a finish or filtering, are announced to screen readers.
  • Layouts are built mobile-first and reflow without horizontal scrolling.
  • We avoid flashing or rapidly moving content.
